Waterfalls in the Heart of Muskoka & a Lake Cruise

This day unfolds across the lakes, rivers, and historic towns of Muskoka, often referred to as the heart of Ontario’s cottage country. The experience combines natural scenery, charming communities, and a relaxing lake cruise.
The journey begins in the welcoming town of Bracebridge, widely considered the heart of Muskoka. In the town centre, we visit Bracebridge Falls, the area’s main natural landmark and one of its most recognizable sights, where rushing water creates a striking contrast with the surrounding historic buildings. Tourists also have time to enjoy the relaxed downtown atmosphere, with riverside walkways, local shops, and cafés.
We then continue to Gravenhurst, a historic town located between Gull Lake and Lake Muskoka, known for its distinctive architecture and strong connections to Muskoka’s heritage. Here, we enjoy a walk through Gull Lake Rotary Park, visit the Bethune Memorial House National Historic Site, and admire the elegant Gravenhurst Opera House, a cultural landmark at the centre of the town.
The highlight of the day is a relaxing two-hour cruise on Lake Muskoka aboard the historic vessel Wenonah II. During the cruise, tourists enjoy views of forested islands, classic Muskoka cottages, and waterfront estates set within a peaceful natural landscape.
After the cruise, we begin the return journey to Toronto.
